Experience

Dr. Luc Schlangen is senior researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Intelligent Lighting Institute, within the Human Technology Interaction group. His main interests are visual and non-visual responses to light and lighting in laboratory and in real-life settings (workplaces, healthcare, homes and education). Luc is the Dutch Representative for CIE Division 6 “Photobiology and Photochemistry” and has been director of this division between 2019-2023, he chaired the committee that prepared inteernational standard CIE S 026:2018 with new metrics to quantify light for its non-visual and ipRGC-influenced responses.
