Lorenzo Ceccarelli received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Cassino, Italy, in 2016. He carried out his Master Thesis activity at the ABB Corporate Research Center, Vasteras, Sweden, dealing with the modeling and characterization of megawatt-scale SiC power modules. In 2019, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in advanced electrothermal modeling and simulation of SiC MOSFETs for reliability with the Energy Technology Department, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. In 2018, he spent five months as a Visiting Graduate Scholar with the Mixed-signal Computer Aided Design laboratory, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, USA. Since 2020, he is a Postdoc in the Electromechanics and Power Electronics research group at Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands. His research interests include the computer-aided design of power converters for the next generation smart grid, focusing on aspects of power density, efficiency and reliability.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
