Research profile
Jonnro Erasmus obtained a Master of Engineering from the University of Johannesburg in 2012. His dissertation explored the interdependencies between project management, systems engineering and quality management in large capital projects. The research was inspired by his six years of experience in large projects in the power generation and manufacturing industries. The resulting process framework was presented at the 24th conference of the International Association for the Management of Technology.
Jonnro is currently pursuing a PhD at the information systems group of the School of Industrial Engineering. His research is focussed on the allocation and management of smart robotics in dynamic manufacturing processes. His research interests include business process management, complex adaptive systems and agent-based management.
