Research profile

I am full professor in the Process and Energy Department of Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, and a guest researcher at the Multiphase Reactors group at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands.

From 1998 until 2003 I did my PhD studies in the computational chemistry group of Prof. W.J. Briels. From 2003 until 2006, I was a postdoc at the Computational Chemistry department of the University of Cambridge. After that, from 2006 until 2009 I was a postdoc in the Computational Biophysics group of the University of Twente in The Netherlands, supported by a VENI grant of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). From 2009 until 2011 I was a research associate of Prof. Christian Bailly in the Institut de la matière condensée et des nanosciences (IMCN) of the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium.
