Jianzhi Zhu received his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Donghua University in 2016. In his master project, he worked toward the investigation of nanogel platforms to improve molecular imaging sensitivity and accuracy. He then moved to the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands as a doctoral candidate supervised by Prof. Jan van Hest. His doctoral research is currently focusing on the utilization of catalytic nanomedicine in cancer therapy.
