Adrie de Vries, MSc. graduated in 2008 at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the field of Building Physics on the effects of daylight on the performance of office workers. Following his study, he worked at Philips Lighting as a lighting consultant and designer for outdoor applications, application expert for office environments and is currently working as a scientist in the innovations group of Philips Lighting. In addition to his work at Philips, Adrie is also active in several international standardization bodies such as the international commission on light and lighting (CIE), the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
