Hani Javan-Hemmat received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 2002. In 2006, he received the M.Sc. degree in Computer Architecture from the Computer Engineering department of the Sharif University of Technology. Since 2006, he has worked in both academy and industry at the Sharif university, Tehran Polytechnic and Azad university Robotic center, Iranian National Park of Science and Technology, and Azad University (as lecturer). His research interests include 3D reconstruction, robotics, parallel processing (OMP and CUDA), hardware-software co-design, and design of corresponding hardware/software architectures for real-time implementation. Since 2012, he is doing his Ph.D. in VCA lab., Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e). He is currently working on multi-modal data fusion and 3D reconstruction.
