Gu Ye was born in Xining, China, 1988. He obtained his bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2011. At the same year, he started his master in Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He got the master degree from the Electrical Energy Systems (EES) group in 2012. Now he is pursuing the Ph.D. degree. His research is focused on the monitoring of power quality in distribution network.
