Research profile
I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the Control Systems Technology group, Mechanical Engineering department. I am active in the field of control theory and its intersections with optimization and formal methods. My specific research interests span the following:
- Stochastic systems, hybrid systems, nonsmooth systems.
- The use of formal methods for dynamical systems (verification and control through discrete abstractions, languages, automata, etc.).
- Optimization-based techniques for safety-critical and/or high-performance control of dynamical systems (feedback optimization, control-barrier functions, projected dynamical systems, optimization algorithms interconnected with dynamical systems).

Academic background
I obtained the Diploma (joint BSc. and MSc. degree) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2017. I obtained my PhD, Cum Laude, from Delft University of Technology, in 2022. Between June 2022 - November 2022 I held a Postdoc position at Delft University of Technology.
