Freek graduated in 1999 at the University of Maastricht on the topic “consequences of downsizing and integral management on organisations”. After his study, Freek stared working as a consultant. He is currently a Principal Consultant at MLC (www.m-lc.nl) and has extensive experience in supporting organizations that are implementing business process optimizations with the aim of achieving continuous improvement.

Since 2011 Freek is an external PhD candidate at the TuE. The main goal of his research is to address the role of the Middle Manager in relation to Continuous Improvement.
