Research profile

Farhad Ghanipoor is a Doctoral Candidate at the Dynamics and Control (DC) group of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He is currently working on hybrid model- and data-based methods for fault detection and isolation within Project 4 of the Digital Twin Program. In his project, Fathad is supervised by Nathan van de Wouw (TU/e) and Carlos Murguia (TU/e), and Peyman Mohajerin Esfahani(TUD).

Farhad Ghanipoor (born, 1995) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology and Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, respectively. He has worked on modeling and control of dynamical systems, parameter and state estimation for nonlinear systems. His research interests include fault detection, control, robotics, system identification, and heuristic algorithms concerned with machine learning.
