Eva Magdalena Estirado(1992) received her Bachelor degree in Chemistry in 2014 in the Autónoma University of Madrid after finishing her Bachelor thesis in the Synthesis of glycomimetics for the study of carbohydrate-protein interactions. In 2015 she received her Master degree in Organic Chemistry in the same university, where she worked on her Master thesis in the lab of Prof. David González Rodríguez in the Study supramolecular association processes using Förster Resonance Energy Transfer. She has worked in IMDEA Energy Institute as a research assistant in redox flow batteries. To continue this project, she did a 3-month stay in Aalto University. As a result she has co-authored 3 publications in a Q1 Journal (Journal of Power Sources). She also worked in Synthelia Organics, a chemical company specialized in the synthesis of small molecules for pharmaceutical purposes. In November of 2015 she joined the research group of Prof.dr.ir.L. (Luc) Brunsveld to start her PhD studies in the Self-assembled multivalent platforms for protein assembly and cellular targeting, in a Marie Sklodowska-Curie network (MULTI-APP) focus in the chemical multivalent systems for innovative applications in fields as diagnostics, drug discovery, materials science and nanotechnology.
