Eleonora Foschino obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physics at the University of Milan. In her master graduation project (in collaboration with the Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany) she studied the mixing to demixing transition in a mixture of attractive spherical and anisotropical particles by means of Monte Carlo simulations.
Her PhD project focuses on the theoretical description of systems of (charged) hard platelets or (charged) hard rods mixed with supramolecular polymers, as well as polymer-grafted (charged) platelets and rods.
