Edgar Salas Gironés is a Ph.D. candidate at the Technology, Innovation and Society group (TIS). His research focuses on the public policy and governance of smart mobility in the Netherlands. Before his appointment, he pursued an MSc in Innovation Sciences at the same university, a Bachelor in International Relations at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and an undergraduate exchange program in Political Science at the University of California, Riverside. He has collaborated in several public and private organizations, such as think-tanks, consultancy, and civil society organizations. Edgar is particularly interested in the design of public policies for transformative change, and in the study of the policy processes of STI.
