Deniz Eren is a PhD student at the Laboratory of Materials and Interface Chemistry at Eindhoven University of Technology. He studied at the Yildiz Technical University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2014. After graduation, he started his Master’s studies at Bilkent University, National Nanotechnology Research Center in the field of biomineralization of peptide-amphiphile nanofibers. In October 2016 he joined the ITN MULTIMAT as an Early Stage Researcher. The aim of his project is to co-assemble inorganic and organic components to construct hierarchical materials with controllable internal structure and different mechanical properties.
