Academic background

Dennis Andreoli obtained his M.Sc. degree in Architecture, Building, and Planning with a specialization in Urban Systems and Real Estate in August 2023, following the acquisition of his B.Sc. degree in Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Sciences in August 2020 at Eindhoven University of Technology. For his graduation thesis, titled "Driver Compliance with In-Vehicle Smart Parking System Advice," Dennis examined the impact of smart parking advice on driver parking behavior.

During his studies, Dennis engaged in a range of extracurricular activities, which included serving on the board of study associations CHEOPS and SERVICE.

Research profile

Dennis Andreoli is a doctoral candidate within the Urban Planning and Transportation group at the Department of Built Environment. His Ph.D. is a part of the NWO-funded XCARCITY project, a five-year program that focuses on sustainable accessibility in urban regions. Dennis conducts research on the impact of the urban environment on the perceived safety and experience of cyclists, aiming to promote an increase in the modal share of cycling through urban design.
