Research profile
Denis Fatkhiev is a PhD Candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) working on chip-based quantum key distribution transceivers. As a member of the Electro-Optical Communication (ECO) group, his focus is to contribute to the secured communication systems by using photonic-electronic integration to enable high-performance, cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions for both discrete variable and continuous variable quantum key distribution.
Academic background
Denis Fatkhiev obtained his bachelor's (2019) and master's (2021) degrees in Information and Communication Technology at Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU). At USATU he was also working as a research engineer on funded projects which were dedicated to on-chip orbital angular momentum approaches and photonics-assisted radio beam steering. In June 2022 Denis joined TU/e as a PhD Candidate.
