My academic background is Aerospace Engineering, with a focus on composites structures.
I did my Bachelor, Master, and PhD at Sapienza University of Rome (Rome, Italy). I then moved to the Netherlands working as postdoc researcher at the ASM department at the Aerospace Faculty at TU Delft, studying the effects of defects in Glare manufacturing, and the optimization of thermoplastic composites manufacturing.
After a year in industry at Airborne Composites Automation (The Hague, NL), I took a career break in which I provided tennis lessons to kids and adults, and I got a master in Finance at the Rome Business School (Rome, Italy) with a specialization in fintech and blockchain.
In early 2024 I worked for 6 months as data steward at the Aerospace Engineering faculty at TU Delft, and from September 2024 I hold the same role at the Mathematics and Computer Science department at TU Eindhoven.
As the M&CS department data steward, I assist and support researchers of the faculty in their data/software related activities, mainly in writing data management plans (DMP), ethical approval, and data sharing agreement.
