Academic background
Darian Verdy Retianza was born on December 22nd, 1995, in Semarang, Indonesia. He got his B.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering, focusing on power electronics and electric drives, from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Bandung, Indonesia, in 2016. After becoming the first prize winner of the KTH Masters Challenge Indonesia 2016, Darian received a full scholarship to study at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He received his M.Sc. degree in Vehicle Engineering, focusing on the control of dynamic systems in 2018. At the end of the same year, Darian joined Electromechanics and Power Electronics Group at the Eindhoven University of Technology as a PhD researcher. His research is focused on targeting fault-tolerant power electronics in mechatronics applications. He received his PhD degree in January 2023. Since November 2022, he has been employed at the Eindhoven University of Technology as a postdoctoral researcher.
Research profile
Darian Retianza is a postdoctoral researcher in the Electromechanics and Power Electronics Group at the Eindhoven University of Technology.
