Research profile
Carlos Jose Gonzalez Rojas is a Doctoral Candidate at the Control Systems (CS) Group - Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He works on the project "Control of viscoelastic material deposition for the printing of personalized nutrition” (PRINTYOURFOOD) under the supervision of Associate Professor Leyla Özkan. His main research interests include model order reduction for digital twinning, physics-informed machine learning, and simulation of distributed parameter systems.
Academic background
Carlos Rojas obtained his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), cum laude, in 2015. He obtained his MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), in 2020. His MSc thesis, entitled “Parameter identification for a damage model using a physics informed neural network”, was supervised by Professor Marco Lucio Bittencourt.
