César Gómez holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Energy Systems from the National University of Colombia (Universidad Nacional de Colombia). His work has focused on the design and economic optimization of photobioreactors for microalgae culture. In his research, he proposed a novel method for designing a system of photobioreactors in series and conducted an economic analysis of the approach. Additionally, he completed a Master in Chemical Engineering with a focus on process control. In his Master's thesis, he proposed a Model Predictive Control for batch processes using set theory methods.
