Academic background
Brent van Herk holds a B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. degree in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology. During his master’s, he was enrolled as a secondary student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Twente, where he followed specialised courses with a focus on medical device design. He conducted research at LifeTec Group and Philips Experience Design, focusing on organ perfusion systems, patient-centered innovation, and AI-enabled healthcare design.
