Bas Vermulst is Assistant Professor in the Electromechanics and Power Electronics group of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He specializes in high-performance and high-precision power electronics and systems, within the main application domains of automotive electronic systems, medical imaging systems, semiconductor lithography, and renewable energy systems.

Academic background

Vermulst received his BSc, MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2010, 2011 and 2016, respectively, from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).  

Vermulst worked as a developer for Prodrive B.V. from 2010 to 2017. He joined TU/e as Assistant Professor in 2016.
