Bart Gysen is Assistant Professor in the Electromechanics and Power Electronics group within the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His specialisations include electromagnetic actuators, electromagnetic modeling, active suspension and mechatronic systems.
Gysen has authored, co-authored or otherwise contributed to 47 conference papers, 29 academic articles and 2 patent publications.
Bart Gysen received his BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in 2005 and 2007 respectively. Afterwards, he received his PhD from TU/e in 2011. Since 2011, he has been working at Prodrive Technologies, where he currently has the position of Mechatronics System Architect. He also continued his career at TU/e as part-time Assistant Professor.
