Research profile

Aziiz Sutrisno is a PhD candidate at the Technology, Innovation and Society group (TIS). His research focusses on the risk management in the energy market with special attention to the interaction between energy importer and exporter countries. Aziiz hold his Bachelor of Engineering from Industrial Engineering Department of University of Indonesia (UI). He received a European Erasmus Mundus Scholarship in 2011 and finished his master in System Dynamics which he attended 3 different universities (University of Bergen, New University of Lisbon and Radboud University of Nijmegen). He received the Indonesian Education Endowment Fund (LPDP).

Prior to his PhD position, Aziiz involved in projects as a researcher with the Indonesian National Energy Board and Indonesian Fiscal Policy Agency. He also served as a senior researcher at the Systems Engineering, Modeling and Simulation Laboratory in the University of Indonesia. Currently he still hold position as an advisor to Signifiergames.com (a serious game startup) and TGE (a company focus on renewable energy development)
