A.I.M. Tummers-Heemels has a master in Industrial Engineering, in 1989 at the University of Technology Eindhoven. Spending 10 years in the Supervisory Board of the Alzheimer Society, now in the German Board of the Alzheimer Forschung Initiative. Her ambition is to improve quality of life of people with dementia and their caregivers. Started in 2016 a Phd at this University of Technology, focusing on the possibilities of mediated touch for elderly suffering from dementia.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
