Experience

At the Photonic Integration research group, I translate scientific knowledge into user-focused stories to facilitate the transition of scientific knowledge into products and processes. Specifically, I am responsible for the external communications of JePPIX, the JePPIX Pilot Line and OIP4NWE on behalf of TU/e.

JePPIX has successfully brought the European InP photonic integrated circuit (PIC) supply chain together as a coherent force to advance and promote PIC technology. It is committed to driving the industrialization and use of high-performance indium phosphide, silicon nitride and hybrid photonic integration. JePPIX offers open access MPW Services, Pilot Line services, training and road mapping. www.jeppix.eu

The JePPIX Pilot Line bridges the gap between first prototype and commercialization. It offers open access to professionalized manufacturing capabilities on existing PIC platforms for fabless and labless PIC production. All with operational excellence: we do things well, fast and cheap.

OIP4NWE is creating and testing an open innovation model for PIC manufacturing capabilities and equipment. This open innovation model connects customer requirements all the way through to manufacturing capabilities, catering to customer needs. www.oip4nwe.eu
