Andrea Cremasco received his MSc degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pavia, Italy, in 2014. In 2014 he joined the ABB Corporate Research Center, Switzerland, for his graduation project. From 2015 to 2018 he worked as R&D engineer at ABB Switzerland. In 2018, he joined as a Doctoral Candidate the Electromechanics and Power Electronics (EPE) group, Eindhoven University of Technology.
His current research interests include electromagnetic modelling of passive magnetic components for Medium Voltage Solid-State Transformers and electro hydrodynamic modelling of charge carriers in their insulation.
