Academic background

Alessio Arleo is an Assistant Professor at the University of Eindhoven Visualization Cluster. He holds a BSc in Computer and Electronic engineering and MSc in Computer and Telco engineering.  He obtained a PhD in 2018 at University of Perugia, Italy, investigating distributed computing platforms applied to graph drawing. He has been a Post-Doc in the Visual Analytics research unit (CVAST) at the Institute of Visual Computing and Human-Centered Technology, at the Vienna University of Technology. 
His research interests include temporal network visualization, information diffusion, and distributed graph algorithms.
