Alessandro is a Doctoral Candidate in the Electronic Systems group. In his PhD project he is working on system level automotive architectures, focusing on functional safety for future autonomous vehicles. His work is performed in collaboration with NXP Semiconductors, and supervised by prof. dr. Kees Goossens and dr. Bart Vermeulen.
Academic background
Alessandro Frigerio received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronical Engineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. His master thesis focused on the use of wheelchair-mounted robotic arms for assistive technology. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in the Electronic Systems group at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research interests include embedded systems, automotive systems, and safety-critical systems.
