Aleid is a PhD candidate in energy innovation in low-income countries in the Technology, Innovation and Society group, School of Innovation Sciences. Her research project is about the formation of markets for emerging technologies. Her specific interest is in markets for renewable energy technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa. She takes a firm-level perspective to analyze the formation of new markets and the underlying mechanisms.
