We want to finely control the morphology of self-assembled structures of amphiphilic molecules in solution (such as block copolymers or surfactants) on basis of their chemical composition. We use our expertise in polymer chemistry, polymer characterization, scattering techniques, and self-consistent field theory to build roadmaps and insights. We also try to understand the interactions between such micellar structures and the resulting phase stability. The final goal is to control the encapsulation and release of compounds from such self-organized structures.
