Mobile IC Unit

Mobile unit whereby an intensive care patient can be safely transported from one hospital to another. All equipment and medication is contained in the undercarriage. The bed is hydraulically adjustable in height and angle. The carbon-fiber bed is removable and transparent for CT scanners. The unit is secured by a shock absorber system in the ambulance so that in the event of a collision the patient suffers the least possible impact. During the design of the mobile unit especial attention is payed to the safety of the patient and the ambulance personnel in the event of a traffic accident.
