Students collaborate in a group to conduct an analysis in which the future of mobility plays a central role, combining technical and USE elements. They work on a project brief by a stakeholder such as an established company, a startup or a policy maker. Students work on a problem or question posed by the stakeholder (in recent years e.g. ; smartphone use in cars, pilot for truck platooning, plan for introducing automated driving with roof sensor, creating a policy design for the introduction of electric vehicles, new busines models for car sharing). They use the knowledge accumulated in the exploratory and specialization courses of the USE package and apply it in the project. The student groups also prepare a stakeholder analysis and a literature report. Groups report the findings of their analysis in writing in line with the applicable academic standards. They also present the findings of their analysis to a larger public in an appealing and convincing way.
