Risk and trust in social computing and social media



Designing online environments for communities, groups, and networks of users in social media in such a way that users enjoy their experience and the community fulfils its desired function (e.g., knowledge sharing, provision of social support, maintenance of brand attachment, etc.) is a challenging task. In this project students apply social and behavioral theories to derive design recommendations and test them empirically in a specific case, such as a health community for patients, a learning community for students, or something else.
