In this course the following topics will be addressed: The development of dynamic models for control, linearization of nonlinear dynamic models, Laplace transformation, derivation of transfer functions, typical dynamic behaviour of process systems, frequency domain analysis, BIBO stability, Bode Stability criterion, design and tuning of control mechanisms, process simulation, enhanced control strategies and control design in Matlab/Simulink
