Mathematics is a powerfull tool to formulate the essentials of a practical problem. The mathematics major contains a series of modeling related subjects. The course Porgramming and modeling is the first opportunity to setup, elaborate, execute and evaluate a model. A number of courses has a modeling compoenents specifically geared to applying this type of mathiematics in a modeling context. Design and indusrial Modeling are also courses with this focus. In 2WH70 you can have more experience in tackling a problem not posed as a mathematical question.
