This course is an introduction to elementary principles of inorganic chemistry and to practical skills for general chemistry and chemical engineering. Basic conventions and theories in acid-base and redox chemistry are explained. The practical activities cover safety in the laboratory. Performing organic and inorganic chemistry experiments as well ass operation of chemical reactors and data collection. Furthermore, a short introduction to probability and descriptive statistics will be given.
