Objectives

  1. Have insight into molecular properties such as solubility of a molecule or a polymer, i.e. to predict structural formula or to predict behavior of (different) polymers under different conditions(molecular insight).
  2. To have insight into interpreting analytical data (obtained by NMR, optical techniques, MS and scattering techniques).
  3. To have insight into describing the principles on which NMR, optical techniques, MS and scattering techniques are based.
  4. To have insight into the possibilities and limitations of NMR, optical techniques, MS and scattering techniques.
  5. To have insight on which analysis techniques must / can be used to answer certain research question (by drawing up an analysis plan for example).
