Information security and key management

A key (private or public) is a piece of data needed by those who send and receive an encrypted message, to ensure information security. For private keys, security depends on their storage and restricted accessibility, for public keys on their authenticity. In this project, students look at key management in social contexts, exploring how security can sometimes conflict with other values, investigating reasons for user/enterprise trust in key management and using those in design/recommendations.
