In the western world the costs of (curative) healthcare are currently (exponentially) increasing. A large amount of these costs relate to lifestyle related chronic diseaesas. It is therefore expected that many graduates will find a future job that is, directly or indirectly, related to helathcare/healthy living. This course gives, next to the already existing and more generic courses, a primer in the specifics of acquiring, analyzing and representing data in the specific context of helathcare/healthy living. It concentrates on two dominant aspects: energy intake (food/nutrition) and energy expenditure (active lifestyle)
