Description

You will create a high-tech, sustainable product (tangible, model and/or digital) for a research stakeholder within the Mechanical Engineering department. The result will be a well-documented modeled and/or manufactured (in collaboration with workshops) product.
The student will work on this CBL project in a group. The project plan follows the steps:
Evaluate the feasibility of a concept solution
Develop a test plan for the product and its components
Prepare/create test facilities
Define parts and processes for the product
Perform Budget control/balancing (BoM)
Detailed manufacturing drawings, collaborate with workshop
Create (model) parts and do assembly
Execute the test plan for the product
Evaluate a product based on test results and give an advice for redesign/optimization
Make a patent/IP reference
