This course is concerned with electronic design automation to deal with the increasing complexity of electronic systems. The course introduces the key concepts of design automation that are common at each aggregation level, from transistors to cyber-physical systems. These concepts include platform, specification, design, analysis and synthesis. The course further involves an in-depth self-study on a design automation topic of the student's own choice.
