Discrete dynamical systems

Dynamical systems are processes in which the time-evolution of several variables are related to each other. An example is the temperature of a room, depending on outside temperature and heating. Using mathematical models and techniques, the behaviour of these systems can be studied. If the values of some variables can be chosen freely, the concept of feedback may be used to improve the system behaviour.
