Vakdidactiek Informatica deals with the structure and construction of the subject of Computer Science in secondary education. You will learn how the subject is structured over the years and which misconceptions students have. In addition, you will learn how to construct, prepare, teach and test a lesson.The subject of learning pogramming is also central to this subject.Programming occupies an important place in computer science education. Here there are many choices to be made in terms of languages, tool support, sequence of concepts, abstraction level. The student learns to make trade-offs and after this part he or she is better able to understand the student's way of thinking and respond appropriately.
Objectives
The student:Is familiar with the final attainment levels of computer science at HAVO and VWO and can logically link them.
Understands several philosophies of computer science education, digital literacy and computational thinking.
Can design education of a subject from programming education, analyse it and relate it to programming education approaches.
Can effectively use several activating forms of work in their computer science lessons.
Can formulate and act upon a vision of teaching computer science.
