This course consists of a lecture program, lab sessions and an industrial mentor program. It is the first part of the education in circuit design, analysis and testing. In the lectures, the students will learn to apply circuit analysis techniques to solve basic electrical networks and to propose electrical network solutions to engineering problems. In the technical skills training the student will learn in laboratory sessions about basic electrical measurement equipment and circuits. The lab sessions will be partly held on campus and partly at home. In the industrial mentor program, the students will be able to meet regularly with electrical engineers at top Dutch industries (ASML, TMC, Philips, etc) and learn how Circuits knowledge is enabling the leading-edge industries. The professional skills training is about the topic "Reflection, PRV 41" and is fully integrated into the technical skill training.
