This course deals with an overview of the developments and application of chemical techniques, methodology and molecules for the study of biological systems (proteins, nucleic acids, cells, organisms). The course integrates the acquired chemical knowledge with that of the molecular and medical biology. The course will be richly illustrated using examples of recent research in the area and from the department.
