Device Integrated Responsive Materials

Course

Description

The course emphasizes on the new functional/ responsive devices, specifically soft robotics. Soft robotics are constructed from compliant materials and can bend, deform and adapt their shape showing promising application in field of medicine, biomedical engineering and manufacturing. As such the course bridges the knowledge from different disciplines with aspects from chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics and industrial design. Registration for all TU/e students is unlimited. However, we will select* 20 students from different department to participate in the course. You are still welcome to register for the course until 21 March. Afterwards we will notify the selected students.
