Description

ATA Mute, a spin-off from Eindhoven University of Technology which develops innovative techniques for reducing noise, celebrated its first anniversary in March of this year. The start-up’s technologies reduce the noise made by household appliances such as vacuum cleaners, boilers and heat pumps, but also industrial machines, by at least fifty percent. The innovations would not have been possible without decades of groundbreaking research by pioneers in the fields of combustion and acoustics.
