Telling Stories about Software Developers

Activity: Talk or presentation typesInvited talkScientific

    Description

Software architecture is known to be closely related to organisational structure of companies developing software (the so called Conway's law/mirroring hypothesis). Therefore, understanding the ways people communicate and collaborate in software projects is an essential prerequisite to understanding, assessing and improving software architecture. In this talk we touch upon two related topics: gender diversity in software engineering and emotions expressed by engineering teams. This talk is based on series of papers we have published in 2014-2017.
